Is it common to ask questions in a negative way,in German?For example...
i.e.: Don't you like it?" or "Woulnd't you say so?" or "Isn't there anything you can do about it?"

Ja, das ist wie in den meisten  Sprachen ganz normal auch  im Deutschen eine negierte Frage zu stellen. Dabei braucht man immer noch KEIN HILFSVERB. Man benutzt einfach "nicht" oder "kein/keine/keinen"  oder auch "nichts" usw.

Don't you like it?" =  Magst du das nicht? / Gefällt es dir nicht?

or "Woulnd't you say so?" = Würdest du das nicht sagen/meinen?

or "Isn't there anything you can do about it?" = Gibt es nichts  dafür zu tun?

Yes it is almost like in English ,you can say 'do you like it ?' or 'don't you like it?'

"Magst du es nicht?"
"Gefällt es dir nicht?"
" Würdest du so was nicht sagen?"
