confusion on sentence structure and 得 complement degree
大家好
in Chinese I was told the general sentence structure when adverbs are used can be
subject + adverb + verb + object
Okay fair enough but then when we use the complement of degree structure using 得 , so for instance:
你的中文说得很好
Is 很好 not an adverb in this sentence?
Or is it that the point of this 得 construction to describe how you are performing the particular action? in this case how my 中文 speech is?
and then the Subject + adverb + verb + object construction is talking about for instance when we say
你明天去中国
in the above sentence 明天 is the adverb??
对不起,我可能惦记得太多。
多谢大家
sorry just to add in 你的中文说得很好, if 很好 is an adverb, im confused then why it would be at the back of the sentence, but if its because of the 得 structure and it is NOT an adverb then i guess that makes sense..

As a fellow learner, i was taught that 得 in this structure is an indicator of the "degree" to which someone does something. For example:
他游泳得很快
你弹吉他弹得很慢
I'm only using 快 and 慢 to illustrate how 得 marks the "degree" to which someone does something. There isn't much else to it, as far as i'm aware. Don't worry yourself too much on adverbs for something this small, just remember that 得 here indicates degree, that, alongside the grammatical structure you've already got down, should make for some ready to use grammar.
If it's still not clear i'll come back with my chinese textbook =]

I guess you have to learn more about the complement of degree, especially about the use of "得".
Yes, generally the sentence stucture with the adverb would be:
subject + adverb + verb + object
But when it comes to the complement of degree sentences, we have to put this structural partical"得" between the head word (predicate) and the complement. The pattern of this kind of sentences is just like this:
subject+verb predicate/adjective predicate+得+degree complement
for example:
你的中文+说+得+很好=你的中文说得很好。
P.S.
很好is not an adverb, but 很is.
很adverb+好adjective=很好 is an endocentric phrase which serves as complement of degree here.
Many words and phrases can serve as complement of degree, such as adjectives (长得漂亮),pronouns(你吃得怎么样),adverbs(他快乐得很),endocentric phrases(你走得太慢了),verb-object phrases(她急得冒汗)……etc.

So nice to see a foreign learning trying to crack the complicated Chinese grammar.

很 is an adverb, 很好 is adv. + adj., meaning "very good".
In the Chinese dictionary it says: 得 can be used after a verb or an adjective, followed by a compliment of result or degree.
-You speak Chinese very well.
-你 说 汉语 很好。(word-by-word translation)
你说汉语 is straitforward -> You speak Chinese. Where to put 很好?
If it's put in the last as above. Then it actually means "You speaking Chinese is good." or "It's a good thing that you speak Chinese".
If you want 很好 to be a compliment of degree of 说, then according to the rule, apparently it's:
-你汉语 说得很好。
