duck = to get down out of the way of flying object or bullets 闪
The joke is, if you disagree I'll shoot!

Saying /duck/ in the wild to a hunter is an invitation
to shoot, so it is still /in favour/.
This is the best I could figure out!
Is there a drawing also ? In that case it could be fun.
This seems to me like Gary Larson's humour, which usually is quite fun.

Eliot is correct. Duck is a noun and a verb. Duck (v) because I am shooting.
