Question for persond who understand computers. How to bypass GFW?

I know there are a lot of ways and i used some of them, but collided with unexpected troubles.

The software i used -- Freegate about a week ago went down and cannot keep the connection. And analog -- FreeU is not so good.

VPN networks, which costs 5-7$ a month could be a real remedy. But... i use computer in university dormitiry and can connect to unternet only using the software Ruijie Supplicant. This program swith off any time when i connect to VPN (using OpenVPN v.2.2.0).

Could you help to resolve this problem or to suggest another ways to bypass GFW?

Freegate is working properly again.!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, play with the settings sunder the "tunnel" tab.

I had the same trouble last week with all the proxies. But now they are good again.

There are periods of very heavy blocking by the CCP. In addition, sometimes the CCP cracks Freegate's servers, and Freegate needs a couple of days to upgrade.

The university might be blocking incoming connections. Check your bit-torrent software to see if that is the case. Can you upload?
