what does "raise your family" mean? because "raise"can mean bring up, it also have another sense of "set up", so I am afraid of confusing others by using this phrase when I use it, 1.you need to bring home the bacon,put food on the table and the clothes on kids back... 2.you got married and set up a new family.. which one is right? or both are right?
