it could be like "you can get away (from someone or a situation)"

We say " If you no longer need this[ can be anything] why don't you ditch it?"or That guy/girl always cheats on you, isn't it time to ditch him/her and find a better guy/girl?"

ditch away= throw away

it's informal, a slang term, "to ditch away" means "to get rid of something". and "a ditch" (without away) means "a gutter"

Another thing I want to know is about its usage, we cann't find offical interpretation about "ditch away", does it in common use in daily life of english-speaking country?
