I make sure my family doesn't worry about me. I leave notes letting them know where I am.

My loved ones never have to worry as I always leave a note telling them where I'll be. (where I've gone/what I'm doing/where to find me if they need me).

The first clause lacks structure, and the second should be present continuous.
"My loved ones don't have to (or shouldn't or needn't) worry, I always leave a note saying where I'm going."
