Will Spanish and Chinese overcome English? Do you think in the near future English will be no more the language of the business worldwide?
Will English be somehow like today's French language is (A not useful language but with international presence).

Chinese has so much more native speakers than anyother language in the world and Spanish is the second most spoken language after English in the world.

doubt it. english is too global. though mandarin will be a major business language to learn soon enough; kinda like what japanese was years ago. and spanish... i don't think it will overpower english, but will be more like a dominant second language in the states. :)

In my opinion Spanish is nuch easyer to learn than english. Spanish pronounciation is much easyer than the english one. But I don't know if it will one day overcome english. Arabian will only be relevant as long as there is petrol in arabic countries.

In terms of Spanish and China, it's not so much the economy but the amount of people who speak those languages or a dialect of it. As I said, there's the possibility that by looking at the economies of different countries and finding the one who is s

Could be! Dominant languages are hard to predict I think. French was the international language for some time, and still is in some areas. German was very popular, technical people had to learn it only a few decades ago. Spanish is necessary in the United States in some areas, since people who have come here don't speak English, and Arabic is also becoming that way in the U.S. and Europe. I was surprised to learn how many Americans are learning Chinese because they believe it will be necessary i

To be frank, I don't think Chinese can be a global language. It is a very delicate and complicated language that requires years of hard work. For most people, it is easier to learn English than any other language.
