I think you have got a hunch how to change the verb forms in Korean though I see some mistakes in this. I fixed the mistakes and the ones in parenthesis are colloquial. 댄스하다 -to dance 댄스했다 (댄스했어) -I danced 댄스할 것이다(댄스할거야) -I will dance But we say 춤추다, 춤췄다, 춤출 것이다 more often than 댄스 which is an English word. 가다 -to go 갔었다(갔었어) -I went 갈 것이다(갈거야) -I will go 주어지다 actually means 'to be given' 먹다 -to eat 먹었다(먹었어) -I ate 먹을 것이다(먹을거야) -I will eat normally when you want to make past sentence you add -ㅆ다 and add -ㄹ 것이다 for future tense(or future tense with your will) But there always is possibility of exception I hope it helps. -Ahtti

Hello! You're close and you're correct in that there are certain rules you can learn in order to conjugate Korean verbs. First, any verb using the ending 하다 (to do) is conjugated the same way. 하다 is extremely common in Korean, and it's also irregular -- it follows its own rules and doesn't act like similar verbs (사다, 가다). In present polite form, it would be 해요 and in past tense it would changed to 했어요. For the polite declarative future tense it would be 하겠어요. I can list the corrections for your conjugations, but I should also emphasize that there are dozens of tenses for every verb in Korean. These correspond not just to the timing of what you want to say, but also to the politeness level, and the level of certainty you have with what your saying. Tense can change a lot depending on whom you're talking to and what you're talking about. Going forward, it will be a huge part of your learning Korean. As you learn tenses, you should bookmark and use http://www.dongsa.net as a reference. You can type in the base form (the one ending in -다) of any verb into this site and it will give you a list of conjugations for every tense. I'm curious, though, where are you getting your vocabulary? I'm much more used to seeing 춤추다 for dance and 가다 for go.
