'Cause China has a long history, so Chinese is a little bit complicated. Actually , the most difficult thing is the third tone. There is no third tone in other languages. Generally, Chinese is not that difficult, I think. :)

if compare with Korean, i think Chinese is much more easy... if mandarin compare with cantonese, cantonese is much more difficult to learn, lol
