They are not very different, actually they have nearly the same meaning, these days or recently.
요즘 = 요새 = these days, recently
٢٠ مارس ٢٠١٣
요즘 (fort, castle) is bigger than 요새(bunker, station)
٢٠ مارس ٢٠١٣
It is similar. 요즘 and 요새 = recently
٢٠ مارس ٢٠١٣
