"Bash" is a colloquial term for a loud party, but yes, it is also a synonymous verb for "to hit hard/beat". In the song lyrics they mean to use the verb form. They're likely saying that it's hard for them to get to sleep, so they "beat themselves" into sleeping. Alternatively, they could be saying that they literally physically injure themselves into unconsciousness, but I find that unlikely.
