Is it right and natural?
"It had been so long ago for me taken the exam. "
I want to say, it was a very long time ago when I took the exam.

I agree with Brian; I would say, "I took the exam a long time ago" or "It has been such a long time since I took the exam." I think the first one sounds more natural though.

I would say "it was a long time ago that I took the exam" or "I took the exam a long time ago."
