What does "a glutted job market" mean in this sentence?
Laid-off technology experts, such as computer programmers, found a glutted job market.

A glut is an excess of something, however the sentence is poorly-written (as is the rest of the wikipedia article). Glutted with what? Jobs or jobseekers?
From the context, I guess it means there were too many jobseekers. However, "glut" is used to indicate too much of a (normally) good thing. For example, an oil glut. I think the writer made a poor choice of word here.
