Hi Teddy, hope this helps.
sometime: I will clean up my room sometime. refers to an inderminate time in the future. ie time until event.
sometimes: Sometimes I play board games. refers to an infrequent event (not a regular event). ie Frequency of event.
some time: If I have some time, I will help you. refers to a non counted amount of time. ie the time the event takes.
some times: is never used, time in this context is regarded as singlular and not plural, so no 's'

sometimes - just a general reference to "how often" (the frequency) an event happens without saying exactly how regularly it happens.
Ex. Sometimes I eat icecream. It means that it does not happen often, and also it does not happen each week, or each day ... just whenever I decide to eat icecream. If it was a weekly event it would not be vague enough for sometimes, we would say weekly, or daily. "Every week I eat icecream" is too specific for sometimes.
sometime - a general (not counted) amount of time until an event happens.
Ex. "Sometime I want to learn French", means I have not started yet, I plan to do it, but I have not set a time in the future that I will start on, it's a vague amount of time.

I can't easily explain it, but I can give examples for each.
Hey Julia, we should go see a movie sometime.
Sometimes I just want to be left alone.
At some time, could you please get this assignment finished?
There are some times when you just need to have fun.
I hope you can get something out of that!

sometime = adv, adj = temporary
sometimes = not often
some time = certain amount of time
some times = not all of the attempt / situations
