How would you say "I understand more (someone talking to me) than what I can speak Italian"? Will it be something like: Io capisco più di quello che io posso parlare??

Hi! I think you can just say: "in italiano, capisco di più di quanto riesca a parlare". In Italian you can compare using "di quanto": for example, you can say: "Ti voglio più bene di quanto pensi" ("I love you more than you think" ). Instead, if you want to say that two things are equal, you can use "come": "Ti voglio bene come il primo giorno" ( "I love you like the first day") or also "Luca è buono come il pane" ("Luca is as good as the bread").
