Educated or Well educated might be correct. "Qualified" or "Well qualified" could be ok.

It would be ¨well qualified¨as the person above me has said. I say this because education in itself can be a qualificaiton

This depends on the speaker...he could appreciate him by saying the person HIGHLY QUALIFIED or WELL EDUCATED...but this is not the last expression. We have few other words like A MAN OF LETTERS , WISE MAN, MAGNANIMOUS...etc.
