To die FROM or to die OF? ON my mind or IN my mind?
I've read in articles and books both "to die from" and "to die of". Is that any rule to use the preposition FROM or OF in this case?
What's the difference between "on my mind" and "in my mind"?
I appreciate any kind of help here! =)
Thanks!

die of is used when the cause of death is a direct agent.
die from is used when the cause of death is an indirect agent.
For example he died of cancer. But he died from radiation(which caused cancer)

on my mind means "I'm thinking about something, something is troubling/worrying/disturbing me mentally, my mind is occupied by thoughts in some way"
in my mind means "in my imagination"
hope this helps :)

To die from/of can be interchangeable with very little difference
He died of a heart attack / he died from a heart attack,
I don't think a rule exists, it is just personal preference.
On my mind - to think about someone/something
In my mind - to mentally visualize something
