What's the meaning of "rolled a small fat joint" in this sentance. 2. "Johan plunged the nettles into the cold stream and shook them. A joint is a marijuana cigarette. He made his own cigarette, rolling up the contents in a cigarette paper. I didn't understand why anyone would wash nettles, so i looked for the whole story online. It seems Johan is washing off the nettles to be able to eat them. The force of the water will wash off any dirt.
