No dialect is closer to Standard Arabic. By the way, if you tried to ask "which dialect is closer to standard Arabic?" 99% of people will say "my dialect" lol

I think both dialects has the same level of variation of standard Arabic language.

Yes both are in the same level, i recommand egyptian because most of arabic people Know it better.
