Materials on Maltese is very limited unfortunately, I tried to look around a little while ago, and the best I found was some books on Scribd, I used this one, it's not very comprehensive but it's allright for a basic overview and exercises :) http://www.scribd.com/doc/239353215/Beginning-Maltese

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of online materials to learn Maltese as a second language. This year some books were published aimed for foreigners who want to learn Maltese. However, opportunities to engage in conversations are limited. If you need anything regarding the Maltese language, ask me.
