What does it mean "You don't want to be in deeper than the person you're with."?
"You don't want to be in deeper than the person you're with."
Does that mean you can't have an affair if you're seeing someone?
If anyone could help me understand this, I'd really appreciate it :D

The expression 'to be in deep with someone' means that you're really infatuated/in love with a person, so in the sentence you mentioned, it basically says 'You don't want to feel a lot more for someone than they do for you'.
This is the sort of advice you'd give to someone to avoid getting hurt or heart broken. Hope this helps!

"Depth" here means "how strong, how serious the commitment is."
You don't want to feel deeply committed to someone who is not deeply committed to you.

It means basically, "I love whoever I am with at this moment".
It is a "Free Love" ethic. You know, "Love the one you are with" and all that.
