Odpovedám means you are doing it right now. Odpoviem means I am gonna do it Hope I helped.

I would say "odpovedám" when I am doing it right now, and "odpoviem" when I will do it later - for example today I get a message but I will answer it tomorrow

Are they pairs of perfective and imperfective? Like e.g. písať and napísať?
