I have a grammar question about verb 'do'. I have a grammar question about verb 'do'. I know that a verb 'do' is used a sentence pattern of SVO, for example ' I did chores, I wash the dishes' and so forth. But I saw some sentences other sentence pattern, ' Do it this way, Do it yourself' These sentences are different from SVO. Are these correct sentence? Could you please explain? Although I used dictionaries, I couldn't find a right definition. Thanks in advance.

"Do it yourself!" is an injunction/exclamation. If you want somebody to do something then you tell them: "Do it!" or "Wash the dishes!" "Go outside!" "Do it this way!"

It's the imperative form. Come over here. Walk slowly, don't run. Ask someone for help, or do it yourself.

As my explanation is poor, let me explain extra. Of course, 'Do it this way, Do it yourself' is imparative sentence. My question is these sentences has two objectives(it and this way, it and yourself) I didn't know that usage, although I looked up the usage of 'do', but I didn't found right definition.
