Ci vs Ne?

Ci= Ci (a noi) piace la torta; Ci (lì) andiamo, another example, "andiamo al cinema, voi CI (al cinema) andate?
Ne= Ho dello zucchero, NE (dello zucchero, I'm talking about the sugar) vuoi un po'? Di queste caramelle, quante NE (di queste caramelle) vuoi? Gianluca ti ha parlato di me? No, non me ne (di me) ha parlato. "Ho fatto una cazzata, me NE (della cazzata) vergogno".
Basically they have different uses. The first replaces personal pronouns or indicates the place you were talking about in the previous sentence.
Nevertheless there more complex cases in which an entire part of a sentence can be replaced:
"Ti nascondono il fatto che tu fossi adottato." "Non NE (del fatto che fossi adottato) al corrente"
"Hai assemblato il tuo nuovo pc?" "Si CI (ad assemblare il nuovo pc) sono riuscito"
I know it's not easy to understand when to use one and when the other, but you can master that only practising :)
