Is there a difference between "Jag litar på honom" and "Jag litar efter honom"? If so, what is the difference? If not, are they just different ways of saying the same thing?

"Jag litar på honom" is the correct one, it means "I trust him" / "I trust in him" . The word "på" means "on" while the word "efter" means "after" which becomes "I trust after him",
