Well, you should read loud every day. If u have a tape, cd..etc. and a book with some stories or something like that. You should first listen to the person on the tape, cd..etc....and then repeat the phrase. I do exactly the same when I´m learning languages and it reallly helps.

I think German pronunciation is quite simple compare to english, just there're some retroflex consonants in German, but as my experiences, as a beginner even you can't pronounce it exactly, others can still understand what you are talking about :) So just speak it out loud and clear, very soon I think you'll do it very well :) Good Luck ^^
