työssä vai töissä?
The dictionary has these two examples:
1. Tänään oli töissä hyvä päivä.
2. Hän on töissä tehtaalla.
However, I have also seen examples like:
1. Olen työssä hotellissa.
How do I know when to use työssä and when to use töissä? What is the difference?

Both ways are perfectly understandable since they mean the same thing. In my opinion I hear people say "töissä" a lot more than "työssä", but that can also depend on where you live.
