Can you use 'emote' as a verb?
For example: I emote in a very inspiring way.

Yes, you can use it as a verb.
However, your sentence would not make sense unless you were saying it ironically. To 'emote' is to overact, to display emotion in an exaggerated way.

Yes, you've got it! Emote is a verb. Although it is very uncommon to see it used nowadays in everyday speaking language.
It's just easier to say: I show my emotion is a very inspiring way.

I've only it used for one purposes: to complain about actors overacting.
And in fact, double-checking an online dictionary, I see that the definition is "To express emotion, especially in an excessive or theatrical manner."
You would never use it in ordinary life. If a child were crying, you would never describe the kid as "emoting."
