Maybe it is not necessary to put the 私は because when you use と思います it is understood that you are speaking.

I would use は instead of が where you write ことが難しい, but other than that your sentence is fine. Instead of saying 習うこと, I might say 習うのは as it feels less bookish, but 習うこと is grammatically correct.
