TV programme/get to I wondered if a film and a series can be called TV programme s alongside documentaries, chat shows and so on. What does it mean : I get to go abroad a lot. =I usually go. I dont get the meaning of ' get to here. Thanks

A series, yes, but a movie, I don't think so. At least I can't find any reference to a movie on TV being called a program. "Get to" here means "having the privilege." "I have the privilege of travelling abroad a lot." Meaning that maybe not everyone has the chance to travel abroad, but this person does.
