Is it an idiomatic phrase? سلام عليكم I have some problems understandng this sentence...it's referring to the fact that one person has become rich, and another is asking her how she did it. I wonder if it is some kind of idiomatic sentence, becuase literaly translated it doesn't make a lot of sense... هل ظهر كنز من جدك التاسع عشر أم تزوجت رجل غنياً؟ What I understood is: "Has the treasure of your grandfather the 19th(????) appeared or have you married a rich man?" شكراً جزيلاً

It's a funny way to express his deep shock and astonishment after that person became rich, apparently she was before very poor.

The person who asked this is mocking the woman who became rich suddenly, and asking two questions that he/ she already knows their answers: "did the treasure that was left by your 19th grandfather appear? or did you marry a rich man?". I totally agree with Najmo that the woman who became rich suddenly was very poor before. Good luck Claudia :)
