early morning/early in the morning
Hi, there
If I am talking to someone in another country and I want to say it's already dark in my city, could I say "It's already night here"? Or should it be "It's already at night here"?
Or maybe "I didn't sleep a wink and it's already almost early in the morning" or "I didn't sleep a wink and it's already almost early morning"? Do you use the preopisitions in these cases?
What if I said "birds sing early in the morning"? Or should it be "Birds sing in the early morning?"
What's the difference betwen "early morning", "in the early morning" and "early in the morning"?
Thank you
