In informal contexts, you could also use the idiom 'pass the buck'. http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/pass+the+buck By the way, English speakers never write 'smth'. It seems to be a Russianism. In fact, I could tell before clicking on your profile that this question was written by a Russian. For the rest of us, 'smth' is just a meaningless sequence of four letters that looks like a typo.
