As you added the little apostrophe, we pronounce it as in gypsy. I write my name גרי so every body understands the G is like in green, unless I write Geri and then people tend to make mistakes.. Anyway, we don't have in Hebrew the consonant G like in gypsy, and that's why we add the apostrophe in words that are not in Hebrew.
