Question Hi, there Could you help me with two questions? 1) Let's say I am going to a theater to get a good seat up front for my friends (do you understand what I mean?) . So I leave home earlier. But the theater turns out to be very empty, and my friends and I can sit wherever we wish. So, could I say "It didn't do us any good getting early" or "It was no use at all me getting here early." ? Or maybe "It was no help me getting here early"? Do any work? None? 2) Let us say you walked to someone's house along the beach, and, on your way back, you want to take the next street over from the waterfront, would it sound stange to say "Could we go back along the next street over from the waterfront?"
