What does these three words "germaphobe, metrosexual, androgynous "mean exactly?
Are the three words used often? Are they slangs? Do they sound negative or come with a negative connotation?
Would u please give me a fews examples of using the three words?

Hi Apple.
3 great words!
Germaphobe (n) means an extreme fear of germs and dirt. eg 'He's always washing his hands. He must be a germaphobe'
Metrosexual (n) refers to a heterosexual man who shopping, fashion, self body image and many of the things women and homosexual people enjoy. It is a word commonly associated with urban living. It's informal but not slang.eg. 'Some people think he's gay but he's actually metrosexual'
Androgynous. (adj) If someone is androgynous they display a combination of male and female characteristics. Eg. Some female and male models are androgynous and it's sometime difficult to say whether they are male or female. Or clothes can be adrogynous....defining neither gender. hope that helps. Helen.
