Creating Korean Names
Hi there!
My Chinese surname is 毛, would I represent this in Korean as 모? Does this already have a meaning and would it clash with syllable name blocks following it?
Secondly, in terms of choosing a first name, could I use Hanja of chinese characters? What happens if the hanja that I choose already make a word in korean?

From what I understand, Hanja is no longer used in Korea for names. The hangul you used is pronounced Mo. If you're okay with it being shortened in order to be used as one character then that's fine. You could also use 마오 if you actually want it pronounced as Mao.
