Hello Smelval, The sentences are grammatically correct but not very natural. If you leave out the agent it sounds much more natural. If it is important that the person doing the action is included then use active sentences. Best wishes Bob

They work if you have to use the passive. I could also imagine hearing "the jacket got ripped" and leaving out the "by him" portion. Otherwise, I'd probably say "he accidentally ripped the jacket"
