英語に直すと この頃 these days 最近 recently 今時 recent, nowadays etc... 最近　のほうが　この頃　よりも時間が長いです。（前からずっと） examples: 最近、変な人が歩いているよ。I've been seeing a stranger walking around these days (week or two) この頃天気が悪いね The weather is not very good these days (数日） 今時は、ファッションや流行のものにつく表現です。 examples: 今時の服 clothes that are quite popular nowadays (not in the olden days) 今時の高校生 the high school students who are very recent (not old fashioned) これでどうでしょうか。Hope this would help understand more Japanese :)
