anyone want to contemplate a Zen koan: What is "el lado corto de dos hojas de papel"?
Here is the direction: "Apila dos hojas de papel frente a ti de forma que el lado corto de ambas hojas quede arriba."
Here's the best translation I could find: "Stack two sheets of paper in front of you so that the short side of both sheets is on top."
I'm pretty sure the translation is very accurate. My question: if you stack two sheets of paper on top of one another, where do you see "the short side of both sheets". I don't even know what that means. Also, even if there were a "short side", how could the short side of BOTH pieces of paper be "on top" (if the sheets are stacked on top of one another).
Anyone care to solve this riddle, either in Spanish (if I mistranslated) or in English (if you understand what the directions are saying)? Thanks.
