Can you help with these words: screw, mess, freak,... and phrasal verbs associated to these words...?
I heard sometimes : "you messed it up", "I'm messing with you" can you explain and give me more examples?
Also about "we're screwed", "don't screw it", and "I'm feeling freaked out"...
Many thanks for your replies!

"You messed it up" = You did a bad job. / You failed. / You got something badly wrong.
"I'm messing with you" = I'm joking with you. / I'm teasing you.
Some examples:
- "Don't mess with me. I'm not in the mood."
- "Don't take it so seriously. I'm just messing with you."
- "Where are my car keys?"
"I lost them."
"What?"
"Yeah, I had them in my pocket earlier, but now I've lost them."
"You'd better not be messing with me. You've really lost them?"
(Sometimes people also say "I'm messing with your mind" / "Stop messing with my mind")
"We're screwed" = We're in a bad situation. Usually said when something has gone wrong and there will be undesirable consequences.
Example:
- "If the boss finds out that we arrived late again, we're screwed."

"mess up" means to make a mistake, or ruin something.
"I messed up on this homework", "I was nearly done with my painting when I messed it up"
"Messing with" means to tease or play a joke on.
"Relax, I'm just messing with you"
"screwed" means in a bad situation.
"I'm running late again, I'm so screwed"
"screw up" is same as mess up (screw it being short for screw it up in your example)
"screw [someone over]" is to scam them or put them in a bad situation. "I sold him a broken item. I screwed him."
"screw" can also mean to have sex. "I wanna screw her". This can be ambiguous with the meaning above, just have to recognize context.
"Freaked" means in a panic, unnerved. "Seeing a bear in our camp really freaked me out"
"Freaking" can be a cleaner substitute for "Fucking"
"Freak" can mean someone that doesn't fit it.
"Freak" can also mean someone that has strange sexual practices. "She's a freak in bed"
