Chongsheng
another phrase for 'broaden knowledge'
The word broaden means to expand or to widen but what I'm trying to say is to expand knowledge vertically, in-depth(or concentrate on one subject and dig into the subject, not to gain wider knowledge on broader subjects). Is there a verb for that ? Hopefully you get my point. Thank you.
This is the original sentence: 'In order to acquire perspectives mentioned above, broaden the spectrum of my knowledge and achieve my career objectives of becoming a business leader who can make wiser decisions, enrolling in a XXX program which provides in-depth content and empirical practices on leadership and management is a must. You can also say "expand my knowledge" or "deepen my understanding" or "better my understanding."
There are a lot of possibilities.
