Can I use English word in Chinese sentence? Hello, I want to use the word "Next" for the meaning "every next day" as a wordplay. ("Next" in this term is also a proper name of an artist group. That's why I wanna use English word instead of Chinese.) Then, can I write it as "每一个next天" or "每next天" ? I wonder if it's understandable or not for Chinese people.. I asked several friends who know Chinese or are Chinese, some said it's okay, I can write it and they understand the meaning, but some said it didn't make sense and kinda weird. So what do you think about it? Can I write it like that? Thank you in advance for all the answer! P.s. The full sentence I want to say is "I'll be by your side in every next day."

我觉得在这句话里,不能把next直接翻译成下一个。也许可以翻译成:我将永伴你身旁。或者:我将陪你度过未来的每一天。

Hi; You make me think to the singer Prince from Minneapolis, USA: he has been the one who introduced the common use of numbers to express some parts of speech, "2" in the place of "to" and "4" in the place of "for". Of course, in his lyrics. However, as long as the context is informal, you can do almost anything (just think to chat language and emojis) — provided that the linguistic code is shared between you and your recipient. I think the following ones should be your main troubles: 1. will they understand you? 2. does it make sense? will they understand the hidden message? do they know the group? (and shouldn't you use the capital in "Next" to suggest it?) best wishes
