(physical contact) - Physical contact is the act of touching physically (an object, person, animal, etc.) - For example, putting your hand on your friend's shoulder is physical contact. You are physically touching this person. (how their disorders relate to the rest of their lives) - This refers to the idea that as a medical professional, it is important to make sure that patients understand how their disease, disorder, disability, etc. is connected to their lives altogether and that is not something that can be understood separately. When we treat a disorder, we treat the whole patient including, the different aspects of their life. (their body possess the true power to heal) - A person's body has the necessary components that are powerful enough to help heal itself (pay you out of their own pockets.) - Patients/clients should pay for your services with their own money. (Wisdom carelessly swept aside by the rise of blind, mechanistic science.) - Since the emergence of mechanistic science, wisdom has become less important A good living (if you are sufficiently convincing, or, better still, really believe in your therapy.) - You can make enough income if you are convincing enough and better, if you truly and genuinely believe in what you practice such as the therapy you promote or use. (a paradoxical force that conventional medicine recognizes but remains oddly ambivalent about: the placebo effect) - A person's true power to heal themselves is the result of the placebo effect, which states that the effects of treatment do not come from the drug or treatment itself, but from the patient's belief in that treatment. - The placebo effect is recognized by those in western/conventional medicine, but continues to be doubted and uncertain
