Hi Heidi, This is a bit clever and also an interesting example for all. You're is "you are" and not "you were". Therefore Late and early are the appropriate answers. You are expected to arrive a bit early. You were expected to arrive a bit earlier. You're expected to arrive a bit early. Same applies with late. I hope this helps, Stephen

They are all correct, depending on the context. "Arrive early/late" is useful when discussing a journey, it implies that you will arrive earlier or later than the planned/required time. "Arrive earlier/later" is only useful if you have already mentioned some reference time which you will arrive before or after. For example: "I will arrive at 10, on the express train. You will arrive later." The second sentence could be expanded to "You will arrive later than that" (or similar).
