I don't want to seem rude. Does this sound natural?
Does this sound ok to natives?
I know people say, I don't want to be rude. but I want to say - I don't want to be a rude person to my teacher? I don't want her to think I am rude?
Thank you

Yes, it is natural. Sometimes, however, people use that phrase when they ARE being rude. Example: "Miss, I don't want to seem rude, but your dress is really ugly." But it can also be used politely. Example: "I don't want to seem rude to the teacher, so I won't criticize her even though her lecture was boring"

Yes, "I don't want to seem rude." is used as often as "be". They can be used interchangeably.
