can I practice Chinese calligraphy with a brush painting set?
I bought a brush painting set from the book store a few years ago, I was wondering if it is acceptable to use a Chinese painting set for calligraphy, I'm sorry if this is kind of a dumb question, I just really want to learn the right way, 谢谢。

It`s great to do that. I do it sometimes. Even though I am not good at it. Try it, you can feel the harmony. That's what I feel.

Better not, but if you are just trying to learn how to write Chinese characters. Sure, why not, go ahead and do it!

I think writing brush is better.Probably,  the brush painting set is not suitable for writing.
