In football (soccer) what are the differences between chip, clip and flick? CHIP: Eriksen chips a cross into the middle, looking for Alli, but it’s too high for him. FLICK: Kabasele does well to stick with the striker and flick the ball behind as he tries to cut inside and shoot. CLIP: Barrow bowls down the left, then slips a pass inside for Aluko, who clips a first-time shot towards the bottom left from the edge of the box.
