Turkish word for "my cousin's son"?
Given that Turkish has a much more detailed vocabulary for family relations than German, I wondered if there's a term for "my cousin's son". (To be precise: My father's brother's grandson.) In German, it's just yeğen, which applies to a bunch of other relatives as well.

Actually my cousins have so many sons and daughters. I'm called as "dayı" or "amca" by them and I call them simply "yeğen".
In my opinion, if you talk with your cousin's son, you can call him as "yeğen" but if you talk with someone else about your cousin's son, you must say "kuzenimin oğlu".
For example;
Yeğenim nasılsın?
Kuzenimin oğlu yarın okula başlıyor.

You're right Oscar. There is no such representing term for 'cousin's son'. Definetely it's not yeğen.
You can call 'kuzenimin çocuğu' for 'my cousin's kid',
Or;
'kuzenimin kızı' for 'my cousin's daughter',
Or;
'kuzenimin oğlu' for 'my cousin's son'.
Hope this helps.
